Where do you shoot, and will you travel to me?

I'm based between Los Angeles and Charleston, and I travel to clients across the US. Wherever we shoot, the location gets chosen with intention. It should say something about you, not just serve as a backdrop.

I hate being photographed. Is that going to be a problem?

No, and you're far from alone. Most of my clients start there. My job is to make the camera disappear so you forget it's even in the room. We talk first, we move, we find your version of comfortable, and the photos come from that, not from posing.

What if I don't know what to wear or how to pose?

You don't need to know either one. We talk through wardrobe ahead of time so it fits your brand and feels like you, and once we're shooting, I direct you through it. There's no "hold this angle" stiffness here. Playful is welcome. Stiff is not the goal.

What does the process look like from booking to delivery?

We start with a Visibility Strategy Call to get clear on who you are, your business, and how you want to be seen, and decide if I’ma good fit for what you want. From there we build a storyboard and shot list around that vision, shoot the session, and then you review every single frame, not a pre-culled selection. You get to choose exactly what you want. Once you've selected, I edit and deliver.

How many photos do I get, and who picks them?

You pick them. I don't cull ahead of time. You see everything, blinks and all, and choose what represents you. Clients appreciate that nothing's been decided for them.

How much editing do you do?

Quick exposure correction before images are reviewed. After selections, I don't over-process. I make you look like your best rested self. No plastic skin, no heavy filters. The goal is images that look like you, not images that look like they’ve been run through a filter.

How long until I get my final images?

Turnaround depends on your selection size, but we'll set a clear timeline together after your selection review so you know exactly when to expect delivery. 5-10 days is the norm.

Can I use these photos anywhere, ads, print, social, my website?

Yes. These are built to work across everywhere you show up, not just one platform. We'll talk usage during your strategy call so your image library actually matches how and where you market.

How far ahead should I book?

As soon as you know you want to move forward. Storyboarding and planning take real time if we're going to do this right, and popular dates go first, especially if travel is involved. If its a local job, I’d say minimum 2 weeks in advance to make sure we have time to plan.

How do we get started?

The first step is to book a Visibility Strategy Call. From there, if it's the right fit, we set your quarterly rhythm and build your first storyboard together.

What does it cost?

Investment depends on your package and scope, so we'll walk through exact numbers on your Visibility Strategy Call once we know the scope.

All other categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Terms of Service for MOXIE MEDIA GROUP, Inc.

These Terms of Service govern the use of the website www.tanyaboggs.com and the photography services provided by Moxie Media Group, Inc., dba Tanya Boggs Photography ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our website, submitting a form, booking a session, or opting in to text messages, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We provide professional photography services, including portrait sessions, events, and related editing and image delivery. Specific services, pricing, deliverables, and timelines for each client are described in the individual contract or proposal signed at booking. If a signed contract conflicts with these Terms, the contract controls.

2. Bookings and payments

  • A session is reserved only after a signed contract and the required retainer are received.

  • Retainers are non-refundable unless your contract states otherwise.

  • Remaining balances are due on the date stated in your invoice.

  • Rescheduling and cancellation terms are set out in your contract.

3. Use of our website

You agree not to misuse our website, attempt to access it without authorization, or copy its content or images without written permission. We may update or discontinue any part of the website at any time.

4. SMS / Text Messaging Terms

Program name: Tanya Boggs Photography Client Updates

Program description: By opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Tanya Boggs Photography about your inquiry and booked services. These include session confirmations and reminders, scheduling updates, questionnaire and contract reminders, payment reminders, gallery delivery notices, and replies to your questions.

How you opt in: You opt in by checking the text-message consent box and providing your mobile number on our contact form, online scheduler, or client questionnaire. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any service.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies based on your booking and communication needs.

Costs: Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.

Opting out: You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent. To rejoin, reply START or opt in again through one of our forms.

Carrier liability: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent's or guardian's permission, and be the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number you provide.

5. Image ownership and use

Tanya Boggs Photography keeps the copyright to all images it creates. Clients receive a personal-use license as described in their contract. We may use images for our portfolio, website, and social media unless your contract says otherwise.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to our website or services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the services involved. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed. Continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
